Data Engineer
Professional Experience

2018
Laying the foundation
My engineering journey began in 2018 at Intel, where I took on a demanding role as a Site Reliability Engineer Student while still pursuing my university studies. Working 36 hours per week under a performance-based agreement that required me to pass all my courses, I quickly learned how to balance academic rigor with real-world engineering responsibility. I supported the ServiceNow platform for Human Resources and Finance departments, gaining early exposure to enterprise systems, operational reliability, and the importance of building technology that supports critical business functions.
2019
Entering the world of data and consulting
In 2019, I joined McKinsey & Company as an Intern Data Engineer and soon transitioned into a full-time role as a Junior Data Engineer. Working within the Marketing & Sales solution Periscope, I became deeply involved in processing and analyzing data to support consulting-driven client solutions. Using tools such as Jenkins, DBeaver, and Tableau, I helped transform raw data into insights that informed strategic decisions. This period marked a shift from system support to data-powered consulting, sharpening both my technical skill set and my understanding of how data creates business value.
2021 - 2023
Scaling Impact and Technical Leadership
In 2021, I moved to TradeStation as a Mid-Level Data Engineer, where I later advanced to Senior Data Engineer. This chapter was defined by growth, ownership, and transformation. I played a key role in migrating data processes from Microsoft SSIS to Databricks, helping modernize the company’s data infrastructure. I owned multiple data pipelines that powered marketing and finance reporting, ensuring reliability and scalability at a time when TradeStation was building its Data Office and shifting toward a data-centered decision-making culture. The work of our team became foundational to how the company used data to guide strategy and operations.
2024
Bridging Data, Teams, and Business
In 2024, I joined Sysdig as a Senior Data Engineer, working directly with the Customer Success team to organize, process, and present data that improved team performance and operational effectiveness. Beyond delivering insights, I collaborated with data engineers across various teams to help establish standardized approaches to data processing, thereby contributing to greater consistency and scalability throughout the organization. This role highlighted my ability to connect technical execution with business needs, reinforcing my focus on collaboration, structure, and impact.
